National Scrapbooking Day

Happy National Scrapbooking Day to our friends in cyberspace!

Are you scrapping away today?

Are you hitting up the sales at your local scrapbook store?

Are you cropping into the night while eating Hot Tamales, Snickers, and Diet Coke? (Oh you're not? I guess you know what we'll be doing tonight!)

QuicKutz wants to reward you, our favorite crafters, with a sweepstakes to win some of our new large-format dies. To enter to win, simply leave a comment telling us what you plan to do on National Scrapbooking Day. (And if it's just running errands and chasing kids, that's okay, too.)

Have fun today!

I can't think of a better way to spend NSD then to be in my craft room scrapping away with my Quickutz! Went shopping yesterday and I'm going to scrap the day away today and then go out to eat with hubby and come home and scrap some more! Happy NSD!

Getting my scrap on of course! But it also happens to be free comic book day at our local comic book store and if you wait around long enough Darth Vader's going to show up. It's like small town Comic Con for my boys! So, I'll be a good Mom and take a break and let them get their comic on. ;)

Hit up a local warehouse sale, made a few baby announcements, and make and takes at Archiver's. That's a lot for me - maybe it should be once a week!

Fay said...

I went to several LSS to buy supplies. They all had sales, so I was very happy to get what I want for a great price! :)

Lorraine said...

Getting ready for a crafting weekend away in 2 weeks and it takes time to pack when you normally only scrap at home! Plus the weather is gorgeous and family movie time must be squeezed in also.

Doing something different this year. I am cleaning out my scrapbook room for an upcoming scrapbook yard sale. No worries, not parting with any of my QK products! Anyway, it is time well spent. Out with the old and hopefully in with the new from the proceeds from the sale and benefiting other scrappers at the same time.

Also blog hopping and watching some tutorials on making all of the fabulous flowers that I'm seeing on layouts these days.

Later, I'll be working on some unfinished projects that I came across today. It's amazing what you find when you clean - LOL!

Great giveaway! Thanks for the chance to win!

Had a wonderful weekend scrapbooking a story telling book on my mother's life for the next family reunion. Had even more fun using the basekball QK die for the pages on the mothers PTA Basketball game from many years ago. Now I get to play with all my new dies that I just got. Can't wait to try them out. I love the ideas I've gotten from viewing everyone's pictures and suggests. Thanks

Trying to scrapbook right now!!!

I wanted to participate in the lss NSD crop but couldn't because my air force son is home from a 7 month deployment so he gets all my time right now. Hubby did give me some money to go shopping when I have some time. I was able to make 4 pages while the guys were watching a movie. I participated in some of the NSD challenges on the Scrapyland blog. It was fun, wish I could have done more but was glad to get 4 pages done.
